Day two in the books for the 2013 One Lap of America

Well a pretty good day so far. Slight detour this morning but it was worth it to see Barber Motorsports Park, we really have to come back there. Got to the track early enough for a parking spot on the pavement as anything that wasn't paved was real mushy.

We decided to change it up and I did the first run this morning and worked on chasing down a Corvette. That was fun till turn one and the video will show it, hurt on the times and the pucker factor meter. Still finished 37th on a tricky little track I had not seen before. Between sessions had a good Alabama lunch and fixed our auxiliary charging issues. Herman went out on the second session and had a little issue at first testing the traction, but went on the finish 42nd. Got packed up to head to Taladega Dragway just to get there as the bottom had dropped out, so no dragstrip event for anyone this year. That does mean an early start to get us to New Orleans NOLA. GPS say 9:40 cst. Wow thats a possibility of two nights in a row before midnight. I don't believe I just typed that with 75 mile to go to get to the hotel.

With all of that said and today's numbers in the books we are still in the top half of the field and leading Vintage Foreign group. Stay tuned for more post and be sure to share.
